Right.
So, I've missed two days due to unforeseen circumstances. Not consecutive, but nonetheless, two whole days.
Which makes be terrified to pick up the laptop as I have sooooo much to catch up on.
Please feel free to mock me for falling off this hayride so soon. I am trying to get back on but it seems to be a slippery slope.
I will try and catch up tomorrow and the next day.

Oh don't be put off - seriously - not only is there ample time to make up the 50k if you really want to be strict, but writing less is just as worthwhile, especially if you enjoy it more.
Bear in mind it's kind of easier for me, because I have my chapters pretty much all arranged, and I've had more than a year of planning everything and seeing the story in my mind, so for me it's more like writing a commissioned article, or an essay, each time.
That said it's still quite demanding on inspiration/imagination - writing is so different from thinking.
But I still think I have an easier ride than "proper" nanowrimo entrants because of my structure being all there.

i've caught up a bit, and am only 2,800 short now, so i think it's managable!
