NaNoWriMo Revivication

Time to dust the cobwebs off this long forgotten blog, as I finally - yes, years have passed - get round to finishing my 2006 novel, and we start preparing for NaNoWriMo 2008.

Anyone who would like to do the contest this year do drop a comment below and we can add you to the team here (assuming you put an email below or have one on your profile).

Did anyone get their 2006 effort published yet? I've kept my eyes peeled for the Booker and Pulitzer lists, but I have to say nothing springs to recognition so far. And last year's Nobel winner, Doris Lessing, wasn't a member here so far as I know.

So let's all try and do even better this year, as we come into the tenth anniversary of NaNoWriMo.

Great perspective! My parents insisted on aging in their own home, so we researched Elderly Home Care Dubai options extensively. We found a comprehensive service providing daily living assistance, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship. My parents maintain their independence and dignity while getting the support they need. The caregivers have become like family. For seniors who want to age in place safely, professional home care makes it possible without burdening adult children!

Thank you for highlighting the challenges of caring for bedridden patients. My mother suffered a severe stroke and requires constant monitoring. We arranged 24 Hour Nursing Care at Home and honestly, it's been a blessing. The nurses rotate in shifts, providing round-the-clock medical attention, turning her regularly to prevent bedsores, managing her feeding tube, and keeping detailed health records. It's expensive but far more affordable than ICU stays, and she's comfortable at home surrounded by family. Highly recommend for critical care situations!
